The Santa Fe Saints have been selected as the fifth seed in the prestigious FCSAA Division I Softball Championships to be hosted next week at the Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater, Florida.  The Saints are ranked #18 in the NJCAA DI Softball Rankings Presented by Netting Professionals and are seeded fifth behind #1 seed Florida SouthWestern State (#2 in the NJCAA), #2 Northwest Florida (#3 in the NJCAA), #3 Indian River (#4 in the NJCAA), #4 Seminole State (#6 in the NJCAA) in the stacked FCSAA tournament.  The Saints will play on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM eastern standard time in Clearwater.  The Saints are riding a three game winning streak with all three of those wins coming over teams in the top twenty in the NJCAA poll.  The Saints have won ten of their last thirteen games including a win in Gainesville over the top seeded FSW Bucs on April 12th.  The tournament which begins on Tuesday night with the FCSAA Wild Card Game between Gulf Coast and Miami Dade will look to finish on Saturday with naming a FCSAA Champion.
