Wyatt Tesar is this week's Santa Fe Saints UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Tuesday Teammate of the Week!

Tesar is a second year Baseball student-athlete for the Saints, and is a native of Naples, Florida. Fresh off a big season, Tesar has used that momentum to not just energize himself and his teammates, but the athletic department as a whole. Tesar completed the 2025 season hitting .283 with one home run and 14 RBIs.

He is an active member of S.A.A.C. and always lends a helping hand to anyone in need. Tesar has shown he is comfortable advocating for his teammates and fellow student-athletes within S.A.A.C meetings and has shown his support consistently for the other Santa Fe athletic teams, often seen as a ball roller for volleyball this season.

UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine sponsors a "Teammate of the Week" selection from all five Santa Fe Saints sports teams.  The Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), the SF sport specific coaches, and the athletic director nominate deserving Saints for this weekly award.  Teammates of the week will embody the character qualities the SAINTS (Seek, Aware, Integrity, Noble-Minded, Thankful, and Safe) emphasize and value.  SF Student-Athletes who impact their team, community, classmates, and families for the better are the best candidates for this weekly award hosted by proud SF partner UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
