Seven errors led to four unearned runs as the Santa Fe Saints fell to TNXL Academy 6-3 Monday afternoon.
"Give credit to TNXL," said SF head coach Johnny Wiggs. "They played well and we didn't. We made errors and didn't hit well. We just didn't come ready to play Santa Fe baseball. We will work hard these next three days and get ready to get back to conference play on Friday.
Rob Adams (1-1), the first of eight SF pitchers, took the loss.
The Saints (19-6, 2-1 MFC) will host the College of Central Florida on Friday for a 3 pm game.
