Douglas of Men's Basketball Chosen to All-America List
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The 2021-2022 NJCAA Divison I Men's Basketball All-America Teams were announced on Wednesday afternoon, and Bradley Douglas of Santa Fe College Men's Basketball was selected to the Third Team.
Douglas had a season full of accolades, and added another when he became the sixth All-American in the history of the SF program. The guard is the first Saint to garner the recognition since Bobby Hunter in 2012-2013, and the complete list is provided at the conclusion of this release.
Additionally, the complete list of All-America honorees can be found at the NJCAA release, linked HERE. The FCSAA had five student-athletes in total make the list of 51 Division I basketball awardees across the nation.
Douglas was a key cog to Santa Fe's success in a season that goes down as one of the program's best. The Saints finished with a record of 24-6 overall and a perfect 15-0 at home, won a Central Conference Championship (the program's eighth conference crown all-time and first since 2012), and made an FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 State Tournament appearance. Although the Saints bowed out of postseason play to Florida Southwestern State College by a 67-59 score, Douglas produced 20 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and three steals in the season's final outing (Story).
