Vega and the Saints Sweep Palm Beach, 2-0 and 5-2
Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints returned home on Sunday and picked up a pair of wins over Palm Beach State College, 2-0 and 5-2. The victories were the fourth in a row for SF and helped the Saints climb back above .500 at 7-6.

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints returned home on Sunday and picked up a pair of wins over Palm Beach State College, 2-0 and 5-2. The victories were the fourth in a row for SF and helped the Saints climb back above .500 at 7-6.
Jessica Castiglione was the story in game one, shutting out the Panthers over seven innings to earn the win. She allowed just two hits, one walk, and struck out six.
The Saints scored a run in the second on an error by Palm Beach and Kiandraliz Vega drove in the insurance run in the fourth.
In game two Kayla Taylor started in the circle and Chelsea Malcolm finished things up for the win.
The Saints scored two in the third and added three insurance wins to seal the victory.
