TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Cris'Deona Beasley of Santa Fe softball has been recognized as the FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Pitcher of the Week for her play from Feb. 8-Feb. 14. 

Beasley, a sophomore from Live Oak, Fla. and Columbia High School, earned two wins in the circle for the Saints on the week.

Against Hillsborough Community College in a 12-0 victory, Beasley threw the first three innings without allowing a hit and striking out five batters. She then tossed a complete game in a 5-4 win at Eastern Florida State College, conceding just three earned runs while striking out nine.

On the season, Beasley has an ERA of just 1.33 in her four appearances and 21 innings pitched, averaging 9.67 strikeouts per seven innings.
