TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Santa Fe College softball (17-11) had its bats quieted on Saturday afternoon at Tallahassee Community College (14-4), as the Saints dropped two games to the Eagles.

A GAME-CHANGING PLAY

The Eagles took a 2-1 lead in the third inning with a two-out, two RBI single.

TEAM COMPARISON

The opener was a pitcher's duel, with only four hits for each team in the contest, all of which were singles.

Neither side made a defensive error.

A GAME-CHANGING PLAY

The Eagles struck with two outs once again in the bottom of the fifth inning of Game 2, plating two runs to extend their lead to 5-2 and create some cushion headed into the final frames.

TEAM COMPARISON

The Saints defense had a couple of miscues in this one, which led to three unearned runs for the Eagles.

SF mustered just three hits, with one double. Tallahassee had seven hits and a double as well.

Tallahassee pitching amassed 11 strikeouts, while the Saints' pitching only struck out one TCC batter.
