OCALA, Fla. – A six-game winning streak came to an end for Santa Fe College Softball (23-12, 0-1 MFC), as the Saints fell in a high-scoring slugfest in the Mid-Florida Conference opener at No. 9 College of Central Florida (31-8, 1-0 MFC).

A GAME-CHANGING PLAY

A two-run home run from the Patriots in the bottom of the second-inning put CF ahead 8-7, and the Saints were never able to regain the lead throughout the remainder of the high-scoring contest.
