Student Athletes:
Lanita Bartley - Women's Basketball (2008-2010) - Holds two of SF's four triple doubles, was an honorable mention all-American, all-state player, Player of the Year in the Mid-Florida Conference her sophomore year, all conference her freshmen year as well, went on to star for the Gators. As a Gator her senior year she led the team in steals and assists, and started just about every game.
Brittany Cannon - Fastpitch Softball (2007-2009) - Fourth all time in games played with 121 -First in at bats with 432 -First in runs scored with 160 (next closest 114) -First in hits with 216 (next closest 176) -First in doubles with 35 -First in triples with 25 -Sixth in HR with 15 -Second in RBI with 102 -First in stolen bases with 101 Led team to two MFC titles and the 2008 FCSAA State Championship....Runner up at NJCAA Tournament in 2008
Teena Walls-Bunton - Women's Track and Field (1983) - At the 1983 NJCAA indoor nationals, she placed 1st in both the 300yd dash and 60yd High Hurdle (National Champion), setting meet records in both. She also placed 2nd in the 60yd dash, and 5th in the long jump. Named female athlete of the meet.
Greg Labbe – Baseball (1998-99) – All-time at SF: 2nd in HR with 19, 3rd in Doubles 29, 3rd in Base on Balls, 4th in Runs Scored 96, 16th in Runs Batted In 70, Career Batting Ave. .336…All-Conference and All-State 1999…Transferred to the University of North Florida 2000-2001, 1st Team All Peach Belt Conference 2000, 1st Team All-Region Div. II 2000

David Banes - Baseball Coach (1986-1994 & 1996-2003) – “David's contributions and loyalty go far beyond the role of assistant coach. Character, integrity, loyalty and family man best describes this individual. Seventeen year tenure at Santa Fe College, an outstanding teacher of the game, and best known as a hitting instructor. Could teach all aspects of the game and was a mentor and friend to many Santa Fe baseball players.” (Comments by Eric Tholen)
