Record Number of SF Student-Athletes Earn Academic Awards
Gainesville, FL – The 2016-17 season was successful on the courts and diamonds for the Santa Fe Saints, with all five finishing with winning records, four making their FCSAA State Tournament, and two won their Mid-Florida Conference titles. The real success however, came in the classroom. A record 15 Saints were named Academic All-Americans and 44 student athletes overall were honored for their academic work.

Saints Season Ends on High Note, Defeat Central FL 102-82
Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints finished their season in style on Wednesday night in Gainesville, defeating archrivals the College of Central Florida 102-82. The 100 point game was the first surrendered by CF since 2012.

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints hung with high powered Daytona State College for the first half on Saturday, but the Falcons were too much over the final 20 minutes, pulling away for an 86-65 win over SF (17-11, 2-6 MFC).

Gainesville, FL – Playing short-handed, the Santa Fe Saints (16-10) held on Thursday night to defeat Victory Rock Prep by a score of 82-72. D-Juan Taylor-Hodge led the effort, scoring 14 points to go with 15 rebounds and six assists.

Patriots Upend Saints, 82-75
Gainesville, FL – The College of Central Florida Patriots came out on the winning side of things Saturday evening in Ocala, defeating the Santa Fe Saints 82-75. David-Lee Jones had an outstanding game for the Saints, scoring 28 points on 11-of-19 shooting with seven assists.

Gainesville, FL – In what was possibly the game of the season thus far for both teams, the College of Central Florida defeated Santa Fe College on a last second buzzer beater by Ivan Gandia. The game was a must win for the Patriots who’d started Mid-Florida Conference play 0-2.
