July 25, 2017 Gainesville, FL – Eight players from the 2016-17 MidFlorida Conference champion Santa FE Saints women's basketball team have signed with upper division schools.

Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe sophomore guard Arianna Emanuel-Wright completed one of the best individual seasons in Saints women’s basketball history in 2016-17 and was recently honored by the National Junior College Athletic Association as a Second Team All-American.

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints left it all on the court Friday afternoon against NJCAA #5 Chipola College, eventually falling to the national powerhouse 67-47. The loss ends SF’s season.

Gainesville, FL – The FCSAA #6 Santa Fe Saints (19-10) fought from 12 down in the second half on Wednesday afternoon in Ocala at the FCSAA Tournament, defeating the Broward College Seahawks 85-79 to advance on to the state semifinals Friday.

Gainesville, FL – The Mid-Florida Conference champion Santa Fe Saints (18-10) have their opponent set for the first round of the FCSAA Tournament, they will meet Broward College in the first game of the FCSAA Tournament on March 8 at 1:00 PM in Ocala. Gainesville, FL – Playing short handed once again Saturday afternoon in Tampa, the Saints weren’t able to rally after falling behind early and fell to the Hillsborough CC Hawks 81-75. The loss ends a 13 game SF winning streak and is the first loss for the Saints since December of 2016.

SF has won their last seven games by double digits. A win on Wednesday against St. Petersburg College would clinch the MFC title for Santa Fe.
