Alex Jones

Hometown: Pell City, Alabama 

Played baseball at the University of Montevallo and Florida Southern College 

Graduated from Jacksonville State University with a degree in Exercise Physiology 

Began coaching at Florida Southern College before becoming the hitting coach at Santa Fe College in the fall of 2020.

During the summer of 2022, he was a volunteer assistant to the coaching staff of the Philadelphia Phillies complex team.

During the summer of 2023, he was a hitting coach in the Appalachian league entering his 4th year as hitting coach at Santa Fe.
