Saints Take One of Two Against SFSC
Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints dropped the first game of a double header against South Florida State College in Avon Park 4-2 before rebounding in the second game for a 3-1 win. SF is now 7-9 on the season.

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints dropped the first game of a double header against South Florida State College in Avon Park 4-2 before rebounding in the second game for a 3-1 win. SF is now 7-9 on the season.
The Panthers started early on the Saints in game one, plating two in the first and two more in the second for a 4-0 lead. SF answered with two in the third on RBI by Cassandra Garcia and Gina Eller, but got no closer as South Florida held on for the 4-2 win. Autumn Green started in the circle and took the loss for Santa Fe.
Game two started with a Santa Fe run, and ended with a Santa Fe run as the Saints opened the scoring in the first with a run for a 1-0 lead, and broke a late 1-1 tie in the seventh with two runs. Green pitched a scoreless seventh to earn the win.
Santa Fe will be back at home on Sunday, February 21 at 1:00 PM for a double header against Eastern Florida State College.
