The Santa Fe Saints failed to score in either game as the Chipola Indians swept the doubleheader in Gainesville Sunday afternoon winning game one 2-0 and game two 5-0.
Chipola improved to 22-4 and dominated the Saints hitters in both games.
"We didn't hit very well today," said SF head coach Lindsay Fico. "The combination of very talented pitching and lack of offensive adjustments make for a long day in the box."
The bright spot for the Saints was freshman pitcher Cris Beasley who was the hard luck loser in the opener when she held the number four team in state, number six team in the nation to just one earned run.
"Cris Beasley pitched great today," said Fico. "She pitched to a very tough lineup and held her own. I'm proud how she has grown with every outing."
SF (14-12) will travel to Avon Park, Fla. for a rematch against South Florida State College on Thursday.
