No. 10 Seminole State Ekes out 5-4 Win over SF Softball
SANFORD, Fla. – Santa Fe College came all the way back from a 4-0 deficit at No. 10 Seminole State to tie the game in the sixth inning, but the Raiders hit a walk-off double in the bottom of the seventh to secure the home win in Game 1 with the Saints.
A GAME-CHANGING PLAY
Santa Fe tied the game in the sixth frame when Ariana Wright tripled and then scored on a Story Giebeig sacrifice bunt.
The two teams headed to the bottom of the seventh with the score still tied at 4-4, however. Pitcher Kensley Durrance secured two quick outs, but a single followed by an error put the winning run on second base, and Avery Brewer came through for the Raiders with a game-ending double to sink the Saints.

Each side committed two defensive errors.
SF had five hits to seven for Seminole State.
Three stolen bases for the Raiders helped put runners in scoring position.
