Standout pitcher Mallory Forrester signs with the University of North Georgia

Santa Fe Softball pitcher Mallory Forrester will continue her softball career at the University of North Georgia.
Forrester is originally from Middleburg, Florida, and was a state champion at Middleburg High School before playing her freshman season at Flagler College.
In her sole season as a Saint, Forrester was 17-7 with three no hitters and three saves. She had an impressive 148 strikeouts, a 1.16 conference ERA, and a .95 WHIP in 166 innings pitched. This performance earned her the title of Pitcher of the Year for the Citrus Conference, one of the top conferences in the country.
The University of North Georgia softball team competes in the Peach Belt Conference in the second division of the NCAA. They are coached by Mike Davenport, who boasts a 1094-280 record (.796) in 24 seasons at the helm. Prior to the 2024 season, the Nighthawks had won nine consecutive conference titles.
