Katelyn Crofts Selected to Suncoast Conference Second Team
MELBOURNE, Fla. - The 2022 Suncoast Conference Volleyball awards were announced at the FCSAA/NJCAA Division I Southeast District Tournament banquet on Thursday night, and Santa Fe Volleyball's Katelyn Crofts was honored by being named to the All-Suncoast Conference Second Team.

Crofts, who completed her third and final year with the Saints in 2022, is a Gainesville, Fla. native and attended The Rock School.
The award is the second All-Conference recognition of the standout middle blocker's career. Crofts was an All-Mid Florida Conference First Team honoree as a freshman in 2020-2021, helping lead the Saints to a Mid-Florida Conference title.
In 2022, she played in all 22 matches, ranking second on the team in kills (166) and kills/set (2.18). She paced the Saints with a .291 attack percentage and racked up a team-high 67 total blocks (12 block solos, 55 block assists). The block total ranked No. 3 in the FCSAA...Additionally, she toseed up 25 service aces.
CAREER AT A GLANCE
In her three seasons with the Saints, Crofts compiled:
- 393 total kills (2.02 kills/set)
- A .290 hitting percentage
- 210 total blocks (65 solos, 145 block assists)
Crofts has been the most illustrious blocker in the history of the program, and holds the program records for total blocks. She also holds the record for hitting percentage in a match, hitting .722 with 13 kills in a sweep of FSCJ on Feb. 24, 2021.
