Set 2: Volleyball Introduces Four More Saints for 2023 Season
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Head Coach Bailey Coleman and Santa Fe College Volleyball are excited to announce another set of four new Saints who aim to contribute in the upcoming 2023 season.
After previously introducing Kierston Giesey, Soraya Nacero, Aliyah Nields, and Zimora Owens, today's group includes: Ponleuraksmeay "Nani" Ba, Maria Contreras, Linnea Preston, and Riley Solomon.
Ponleuraksmeay "Nani" Ba
- Position: Setter
- Height: 5-2
- Hometown: Tampa, Fla.
- High School: Tampa Catholic
- Club: Team Kiwi
- Notables: Also played flag football, received the President's Volunteer Service Award.
Maria Contreras
- Position: Setter
- Height: 6-2
- Hometown/Country: Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico
- High School: Preparatoria Del Valle
- Notables: Competed with the Mexican national team in the 2021 U18 World Championship and the 2022 U19 Pan-American Cup.
Linnea Preston
- Position: Middle Blocker
- Height: 6-0
- Hometown: Winter Garden, Fla.
- High School: Horizon
- Club: Winter Park Volleyball Club
- Notables: Avademic honor roll, Intends to major in health sciences (physical therapy) at SF
Riley Solomon
- Position: Middle Blocker/Opposite Hitter

- Hometown: Mount Dora, Fla.

- Club: Citrus Fusion Volleyball Club
- Notables: A four-year varsity starter and two-year captain who led the team in blocks and kills, Graduated summa cum laude
