Conway and Rhine recognized as NFCA NJCAA All-Americans
Gainesville, FL
The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has officially released the 2025 All-American Teams, featuring a pair of standout players from the Santa Fe College Saints. Madison Conway has been named to the NFCA NJCAA First-Team All-American, while Karris Rhine earned a spot on the Second-Team All-American list. Both athletes were instrumental in leading the Saints on an impressive postseason run during the NJCAA Tournament. The Saints finished the season as the FCSAA DI/NJCAA South Atlantic District A runners-up and both Rhine and Conway played a major roll along with the efforts of multiple teammates.
"Super proud of all the hard work they have put in to achieve these awards. I know how much they worked to improve over these past two years to get to this level," said Head Coach Savanah Webster.
Conway delivered a phenomenal season, appearing in 60 games with a .367 batting average and a .757 slugging percentage. She compiled 77 hits with 21 of those being homers and 19 doubles on the season. Her consistent offensive power and clutch performances made her a hard hitter to face in the league and the state.
Rhine also made a significant impact for the Saints, playing in all 60 games and finishing the season with a .387 batting average, .754 slugging percentage, and .468 on base percentage. Rhine recorded 74 hits of which 12 were homeruns, including 20 doubles and seven triples and a stellar 31 stolen bases.
"It is nice to see great student-athletes embody the term student-athlete as well as these two did. Grateful for their time here and appreciate their contributions. This award is a nice reminder of the what hard work and determination can yield," Webster mentioned.
This is the first year under Coach Savanah Webster's leadership where two players have received national honors. In addition to their NFCA NJCAA All-American honors, Conway and Rhine were both recognized with NFCA D1 First-Team All-Region selections. Conway also received FCSAA Player of the Week recognition numerous times during the season.
