Bio
Ryan D. Mark, MD, CAQSM, joined the orthopaedic and sports medicine department in 2024 with a focus in sports medicine. He received his medical degree in 2016 from the Saint James School of Medicine in the Grenadines and completed a three-year residency in family medicine at West Virginia University Medicines United Hospital Center in 2019. In 2020, he completed a primary care sports medicine fellowship at the Military National Capital Consortium, where Dr. Mark practiced sports medicine globally.
As a lifelong athlete, Dr. Mark enjoys working with other athletes and people who wish to get active again following injury. The opportunity to restore a patients ability to remain active whether in sports or chasing their grandchildren is a responsibility he takes seriously.
Before joining the University of Florida, Dr. Mark worked with U.S. military personnel and their families, both overseas and within the United States, as a sports medicine physician.
Dr. Mark is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
