Saints 16 Game Win Streak Stopped by Daytona, 8-4
Gainesville, FL – As the saying goes, all good thing must come to an end. On Saturday in Daytona the Saints 16 game winning streak came to a halt thanks to a strong offensive performance from the DSC Falcons.

Gainesville, FL – As the saying goes, all good thing must come to an end. On Saturday in Daytona the Saints 16 game winning streak came to a halt thanks to a strong offensive performance from the DSC Falcons.
Daytona got to Santa Fe starter Kyle Morton early, scoring three in the first inning and three more in the third to go ahead 6-2.
FCSAA #1 Santa Fe (24-4, 6-1 MFC) score single runs in the second, third, sixth, and seventh inning, but couldn't put together a big inning to get back in the game.
The Falcons (15-10, 3-1 MFC) scored two insurance runs in the seventh to secure the win. Sophomore pitcher Gage Hutchinson went the distance for the win, scattering nine SF hits.
SF's Matt Allen had a successful day at the plate, finishing 3-for-3 with two RBI. Tyler Kinney was the other Saint with multiple hits, going 2-for-4.
