Sean Gabel started on the hill and tossed seven solid innings, striking out eight to pick up the win.
Santa Fe didn't give him much offense until a four run seventh paced by a two RBI single from Navarrete.
The Vikings struck first, plating a run in the third and two more in the fourth, all with two outs. Santa Fe chipped away with two in the fifth, the first on a RBI single by Navarrete and the second on a throwing error by the catcher on a dropped third strike that should have ended the inning. The throw sailed over the first baseman's head and Navarrete scored from second.
The Saints finally got to Vikings starter Clay Helvey in the seventh and finished the job against reliever Jagger McCoy, completing the comeback.
Mirada pitched the final two innings, working out of jams in both to secure the save.
Navarrete finished 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored to lead the way.
The Saints will be right back at it on Saturday, March 18 when the College of Central Florida visits Gainesville for a 1:00 PM game. Fans can watch live on the Saints Sports Network.
