Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe freshman outfielder Andrew Eyster had the best all around offensive game of his young collegiate career on Wednesday afternoon, going 3-for-5 with a homerun (3), triple, four RBI, and three runs scored to lead the Saints past St. Petersburg College 10-4.

Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe freshman outfielder Andrew Eyster had the best all around offensive game of his young collegiate career on Wednesday afternoon, going 3-for-5 with a homerun (3), triple, four RBI, and three runs scored to lead the Saints past St. Petersburg College 10-4.
FCSAA #2/Baseball America #14 SF (9-1) piled up 16 hits as a team and jumped all over SPC starter Drew Cleveland early, scoring seven runs in two innings on eight hits. The Titans plated three in the top of the third on Santa Fe starter Max McKinley to cut the margin to 7-3. SF answered with a run in the bottom half of the inning and McKinley, along with Will Whitlock (4 IP) and Austin Bass (1 IP) allowed just one run combined the rest of the way. Whitlock earned the win in relief and is now 2-0.
Santa Fe added insurance runs in the seventh and eighth innings.
Nick Lentz finished the game 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored. Garrett Mathes and Kyler Marquis had two hits each.
The Saints will be at the State College of Florida on Friday, February 9 for a 4:00 p.m. game.
