Gainesville, FL – Devin Hemenway was lights out on the mound Friday afternoon against Seminole State College, and Brock Edge hammered two homeruns to pace the NJCAA #2 Saints (32-6, 13-2 MFC) past the Raiders 9-1 in eight innings. For Hemenway it’s his second straight double digit strikeout game. He fanned 13 batters a week after striking out 11 against Lake Sumter.
Leesburg, FL – The NJCAA #2/FCSAA #4 Santa Fe offense continued their torrid pace on Wednesday afternoon in Leesburg, putting up another double digit effort in a 10-6 win over Lake Sumter State College. The victory is the eighth in a row for the Saints (31-6, 12-2 MFC) and their fourth in a row with double digit runs. They now have scored 10 or more runs in 14 contests this season, including seven of their last eight games. During their eight game win streak they have scored 83 runs.

Kyler Marquis came up with the big one out, two run hit in the top of the ninth to score a pair of runs and turn a one run deficit into a 11-10 win. The victory moves SF to 28-6 on the season and 9-2 in the Mid-Florida Conference. Combined with the loss by St. John's River, Santa Fe now sits atop the MFC standings. Tyler Jones was superb in relief, pitching 3.2 innings in relief of Michael Paul to earn the win. He struck out five and scattered four hits, allowing one unearned run. Santa Fe looked like they may pull away when they put six on the board on the strength of a two run error by the Raiders and a two RBI single for Garrett Mathes. Seminole State came roaring back in the sixth with six runs to take their first lead of the game. In the ninth Marquis stumped the Raiders come back attempt with his RBI single to score Jarrod Cande and Zach Hand, the two late game heros from Monday's win. Marquis had a perfect day at the plate, going 4-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Andrew Eyster and Garrett Mathes had two hits each. Gainesville, FL – St. John’s River jumped on the NJCAA #1 Santa Fe Saints early on Saturday afternoon, scoring five runs in the first inning on five hits. The early lead would last however as SF answered with three in the first and two more in the third on a triple by Cade Westbrook to knot the score at 5-5.
Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe continued their hot start to Mid-Florida Conference play on Wednesday afternoon, defeating Florida State College-Jacksonville 13-7 in Gainesville. The win improves the NJCAA #5 Saints to 21-4 and 3-0 in MFC play. They’ve now won seven games in a row, their second winning streak of at least seven games this season. Devin Hemenway started on the hill and tossed seven innings, allowing five runs, three of them earned, and struck out eight.
Jacksonville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints showed a lot of fight Monday on the road at Florida State College-Jacksonville, rallying twice to pull out an 8-7 win over the Bluewave, improving their record to 20-4 overall and 2-0 in the Mid-Florida Conference.
Gainesville, FL – Nearly two weeks ago, Santa Fe freshman Kyler Marquis hit a walk over homerun to lift the FCSAA #2/Baseball America #14 Saints to a walk off victory over Tallahassee CC, and on Friday afternoon in Bradenton he again saved a game, but this time defensively.
Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe freshman outfielder Andrew Eyster had the best all around offensive game of his young collegiate career on Wednesday afternoon, going 3-for-5 with a homerun (3), triple, four RBI, and three runs scored to lead the Saints past St. Petersburg College 10-4.
Tallahassee, FL – The FCSAA #5/Baseball America #14 Santa Fe Saints undefeated streak to start the 2018 season came to an end on the road Monday as Tallahassee CC dropped SF 5-2. The win for TCC avenged the 8-7 come from behind win the Saints picked up in Gainesville on January 30.

The win keeps FCSAA #5/Baseball America #14 SF undefeated at 6-0. Saints freshman Andrew Eyster was 4-for-5 with a double, his second homerun of the season, and four RBI.
Tifton, GA – Santa Fe starting pitcher Max McKinley and the Santa Fe bullpen picked up the slack on a day when the bats weren’t as hot as they’ve been the last few games, holding Abraham Baldwin to just one run in a 2-1 SF victory on the road. The win keeps the FCSAA #5/Baseball America #14 Saints undefeated at 5-0.
Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe pitching was on point for the second day in a row, holding South Georgia State College to four combined runs in a double header sweep, 3-2 and 9-2. The wins move SF to 3-0 on the season.
Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe Saints fans were treated to extra innings on opening day as SF and Hillsborough CC battled to a 2-2 tie through nine innings. It wasn’t until the 11th that the Saints finally broke through on a RBI single by Nick Lentz, scoring pinch runner Parker Biederer to walk off with the victory.
