SF added an insurance run in the eighth and two more in the ninth that would prove to be vitally important.
Central Florida's Christian Smallwood blasted a three run homer with no outs in the bottom of the ninth to make it a game, but Paul worked his way out of the inning, getting a pop out to second base to end the game.
The Saints will start a three game series with Seminole State College on Monday, March 26 in Gainesville at 3:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the Saints Sports Network.
