"I'm proud of the way the guys battled today," said SF Coach Johnny Wiggs. "Our bats have really carried us through this second half of the season and they got it done again today. Devin gave us six good innings and continues to pitch well every time he's called upon."

The final four runs of the inning all came with two outs. Jarrett Pico, Mikey Navarrete, Garrett Mathes, and Andrew Eyster had back to back hits to keep the rally going.
An inning later in the sixth, after a home run by the Patriots, Brock Edge and Jarrod Cande hit solo homeruns to make it an 11-4 game.
CF tightened the game in the seventh when Tanner May blasted a three run homerun, their third of the game.
The Saints would not be denied, scoring four runs in the bottom of the seventh, including a bases loaded walk off walk to Jarrett Pico after a long at bat to end the game.
