
Saints Baseball Moves Up to No. 19 in NJCAA Division I Poll
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Santa Fe Baseball broke into the NJCAA Div. 1 poll for the first time this season. The Saints came in at the No. 19 spot in the latest poll, as announced on Monday, April 5.
The complete poll is included below, with Santa Fe compiling 22 points to move past No. 20 Dyersburg State Community College.
Santa Fe currently sits atop the Mid-Florida Conference standings with an overall record of 23-9 and 12-2 in conference play, and the Saints are in the midst of a key series with No. 13 College of Central Florida (32-10, 10-5 MFC).
After beginning the season with a record of 7-7, the Saints have caught fire and won 16-of-18, featuring a high-powered lineup that ranks No. 7 in the NJCAA in doubles with 77. The pitching staff has also been effective, led by starter Robb Adams, who boasts a 5-1 record with a 1.30 ERA.
No. 19 Santa Fe and No. 13 College of Central Florida are in action on the SF Baseball Field on Monday in the series opener. The conclusion of the game can be viewed on the Saints Sports Network.
