AVON PARK, Fla. – The best start in program history continued for Santa Fe College Baseball on Saturday, as the Saints' offense was on full display in a doubleheader sweep of South Florida State College.
Game 1 went to SF, 14-5, and then Game 2 finished 15-7 in favor of the Saints.

A GAME-CHANGING PLAY
The Saints trailed 5-1 after two innings of play with the Panthers, but then the game's final 13 runs were produced by SF.
Seven runs came across in the sixth frame to blow the game open, which was highlighted by a three-run homerun from JP Herrholz.
TEAM COMPARISON
SF had 14 hits to nine for the Panthers.
The pitching staff issued just one walk, while South Florida State College issued six.
The Panthers committed five errors, while the Saints had just one.

Jacob Guthrie and Landon Rogers each had two-run homers in the frame, and the Saints batted through the order.
TEAM COMPARISON
Each team had 11 hits, but the Saints had all of the swings with pop. Six of the SF hits went for extra bases, while the Panthers had just one double.
Five errors plagued the Panthers once again, while SF had two.

The unblemished, program-best 13-0 start comes along with some impressive statistical figures so far this season for the Saints.
SF is leading all of the NJCAA Division I in a number of statistical categories, including runs (115), hits (147), doubles (27), home runs (17), RBI (103), extra-base hits (46), and total bases (229).
