
Bats Firing on All Cylinders as No. 6 Baseball Beats Seminole, 18-8
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – No. 6 Santa Fe College Baseball (26-0, 2-0 MFC) fell into a 5-0 hole in Game 2 of the Mid-Florida Conference series with Seminole State College, but the Saints' juggernaut of an offense came to life and helped SF cruise to an 18-8, run-rule win in six innings on the SF Baseball Field.
A GAME-CHANGING PLAY…
The game got away from the Raiders in the fifth inning, when SF erupted for 11 runs in the frame.
The Saints had 14 at-bats in the inning, five hits, and four walks. JP Herrholz had the "grand finale" for the offensive firework display with a two-run home run, his second of the game.
