Baseball at Central Florida Suspended, Will Resume Apr. 14
OCALA, Fla. - The third game in the series between No. 5 Santa Fe College Baseball and No. 1 College of Central Florida on Saturday has been suspended due to an umpire health concern.
After winning each of the first two games with the Patriots, the Saints were leading by an 8-6 score after four complete innings on Goodlett Field.
The game will resume where it left off on Friday, Apr. 14, to be completed before another previously scheduled game in Ocala, Fla.
The updated schedule is included below, and up next for the Saints is the start of the second series with Seminole State College. Game 1 will be in Gainesville on Wednesday, Mar. 29 at 3:00 p.m.
