
No. 9 Baseball Hauls in 11 Mid-Florida Conference Awards
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - After the program's winningest regular season and a year in which the Saints have been ranked within the NJCAA Top-10 in every poll, No. 9 Santa Fe College Baseball (39-8, 15-8 MFC) had 11 student-athletes garner Mid-Florida Conference postseason honors.
Six were named to the First Team, five were on the Second Team, three were named to the All-Defensive Team. and Tobin Moran was selected as the MFC Pitcher of the Year.

- Moran is from Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. and prior to SF, he attended Palm Beach Gardens High School.
- 2023 is his second season with the Saints, after making 12 appearances with three games started for SF in 2022.
- Moran has been an ace as one of the NJCAA's best pitchers. The righty is unbeaten at 8-0 in his 14 appearances and 13 starts from the mound.

Corey Braun, All Mid-Florida Conference First Team
- Braun is from Seminole, Fla. and prior to SF, he attended Osceola High School and Charleston Southern.
- 2023 is his first season with the Saints, and his contributions have been key to SF's historic season and current place at No. 9 in the NJCAA rankings.
- In 12 appearances and 11 starts so far this season, the left-handed pitcher has posted a record of 6-1 with one complete game.

Hunter Keen, All Mid-Florida Conference First Team
- Keen is from Palatka, Fla. and prior to SF, he attended Palatka High School.
- 2023 is his second season with the Saints, after making contributions as a freshman and being a member of the FCSAA and Mid-Florida Conference All-Academic Teams in 2022.
- This season, Keen has been an everyday starter at second base and at the top of the lineup.
- He ranks second on the team in runs (52) and hits (69), while ranking third for the Saints in batting average at .361.

- Herrholz is from Miami, Fla. and prior to SF, he attended Christopher Columbus High School.
- 2023 is his second season of play with the Saints, after making contributions as a redshirt freshman and being a part of the Mid-Florida Conference All-Academic Team in 2022.
- This season, Herrholz has been an everyday starter at first base and at the middle of the lineup.

Josh Hogue, All Mid-Florida Conference First Team
- Hogue is from North Palm Beach, Fla. and prior to SF, he attended Palm Beach Gardens High School.
- The freshman has been the everyday left fielder for SF while taking his place as a primary bat in the order.
- Hogue leads the team in several offensive categories, including: hits (77), runs (64), batting average (.410), on-base percentage (.479), and slugging percentage (.617).
- His 64 runs scored are No. 2 in the FCSAA and No. 24 in the NJCAA, while he ranks No. 5 in the FCSAA in hits and No. 18 in the NJCAA.
- Hogue has totaled 12 doubles, three triples, seven homers, and 39 RBI.
- On the basepaths, he is tied for the team lead with 11 stolen bases.

- Harman is from Lithia, Fla. and prior to SF, he attended Bloomingdale High School.
- The freshman has been the everyday right fielder for SF, and has used his speed and hitting to make an immediate impact for the Saints.
- His .388 average ranks No. 2 on the team behind Hogue, and he possesses a .453 on-base percentage and .570 slugging percentage.
- Harman has connected for 64 hits while collecting 37 runs scored and 33 RBI.
- The impressive statistical totals include a team-high 21 doubles to go along with three home runs. The 21 doubles ranks No. 3 in the FCSAA and No. 13 in the NJCAA.

Zeth Rodiguez, All Mid-Florida Conference Second Team
- Rodriguez is from Spring Hill, Fla. and prior to SF, he attended Nature Coast Technical High School.
- 2023 is his second season of play with the Saints, after appearing in 25 games as a freshman in 2022.
- Rodriguez has been the everyday third baseman for the Saints, and made his way on to the MFC All-Defensive Team with 21 putouts, 72 assists, a .930 fielding percentage from the hot corner, and eight double plays turned.
- With the bat, he has 37 hits, 32 runs scored, and 39 RBI.
- Rodriguez has flashed plenty of pop with 13 doubles and five home runs to be named to the Second Team.

Jahlani Rogers, All Mid-Florida Conference Second Team
- Rogers is from St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands and prior to SF, he attended East Ridge High School and Florida Gulf Coast University.
- 2023 is his first season with the Saints, and he has been the starter from Day 1 in center field.
- In addition to his reliable fielding, Jahlani's bat has been at the heart of the order for SF.

- Lauderdale is from Thomasville, Ga. and in his second season with the Saints after transferring from Coastal Carolina University.
- The right-handed pitcher has made 16 appearances for SF on the mound with six games started.
- He possesses a record of 6-1, and is tied for the team lead with three saves.
- In his 46.0 innings pitched, Lauderdale has amassed 55 strikeouts while posting an ERA of 4.30.
- Lauderdale was particularly good in a three-game set with Daytona State from Mar. 15 to Mar. 19, when he recorded two saves and a win in the series.
