
Hogue Takes Home FCSAA Player of the Week
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Josh Hogue was swinging a hot bat in the final two regular season games of the season, and his performance in two wins over No. 1 College of Central Florida has earned him FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Player of the Week.

Hogue, a freshman from North Palm Beach, Fla. and Palm Beach Gardens High School, went a combined 6-of-8 from the plate in the Saints' 12-1 and 11-3 wins over the Patriots. On the week in the two dominant wins, he came across to score six runs, drove in three, and recorded four extra-base hits (three doubles and a home run). He was just a triple shy of the cycle on the home field on Apr. 26, when he went a perfect 4-of-4 from the plate.
No. 9 SF Baseball heads to Bradenton, Fla. this weekend for a postseason matchup with SCF (Details/Schedule). The winner advances to Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, Fla. to play in a four-team, double-elimination bracket for an FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 title May 12 - May 15.
