
Valdosta State Signs Baseball's Ryan Brown
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Another sophomore pitcher for Santa Fe College Baseball has signed on to continue his academic and athletic pursuits at a four-year program, with Ryan Brown signing with Valdosta State University.
Brown is from High Springs and prior to SF, he attended Santa Fe High School and Lake-Sumter State College. At Santa Fe, he majored in Business.
2023 was his first season with the Saints, and the left-handed pitcher made 17 appearances out of the bullpen. He possessed a record of 1-2 in his 16.1 innings pitched, with the victory coming on the mound in the 14-13 result over FSCJ on February 10.
Valdosta State Baseball is coached by Greg Guilliams, who has been at the helm of the Blazers program since 2008. The program competes in the NCAA Division II and the Gulf South Conference.
