Hunter Keen to Attend Radford University
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Hunter Keen of Santa Fe College Baseball will be heading north to play baseball and continue his academic pursuits at Radford University in Radford, Va.
Keen is from Palatka, Florida and prior to SF, he attended Palatka High School. At Santa Fe, he studied Sports Medicine.
2023 was his second season with the Saints, after making contributions as a freshman and being a member of the FCSAA and Mid-Florida Conference All-Academic Teams. In 2023, Keen was an everyday starter at second base and at the top of the lineup. He ranked second on the team in runs (54) and hits (73), while ranking third for the Saints in batting average at .363. He was named to the Mid-Florida Conference All-Defensive Team and the All Mid-Florida Conference First Team.
Radford University Baseball is coached by Alex Guerra, who returned to his alma mater to become the seventh coach in program history. The program competes in the NCAA Division I and the Big South Conference
