
Baseball Has Four Named to All-FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Teams
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - After Santa Fe College Baseball had 11 Mid-Florida Conference honorees announced last week, (Story) the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) recognized the All-FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Baseball Teams on Thursday evening. Both Tobin Moran and Josh Hogue were selected to the First Team, while JP Herrholz and Drake Harman were members of the Second Team. Jahlani Rogers was a member of the Region 8 Gold Glove Team for his superb play from center field.

Tobin Moran, All-FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 First Team, Mid-Florida Conference Pitcher of the Year, All Mid-Florida Conference First Team
- Moran is from Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. and prior to SF, he attended Palm Beach Gardens High School.
- 2023 was his second season with the Saints, after making 12 appearances with three games started for SF in 2022.
- Moran was an ace for the Saints as one of the NJCAA's best pitchers, and he was named the Mid-Florida Conference Pitcher of the Year.
- In his 15 appearances and 14 games started, the righty posted a record of 8-1.
- In 86.0 innings pitched, Moran struck out 71 hitters while walking a measly nine hitters. His 71 K's ranked No. 12 in the FCSAA.
- His 2.51 ERA led the team and ranked No. 2 in the FCSAA (with minimums set for innings pitched).
- Tobin stood above the rest when he was named the NJCAA Pitcher of the Week on March 29 following a masterful complete game shutout of then No. 1 College of Central Florida on March 22 in Ocala.
- Moran has recently committed to continue academic and athletic pursuits in the state of Florida, as he will attend the University of Tampa. | Story

Josh Hogue, All-FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 First Team, All Mid-Florida Conference First Team
- Hogue is from North Palm Beach, Fla. and prior to SF, he attended Palm Beach Gardens High School.
- The freshman was the every day left fielder for SF while taking his place as a primary bat in the order.
- Hogue led the team in several offensive categories, including: hits (82), runs (65), batting average (.412), on-base percentage (.481), and slugging percentage (.608).
- His 65 runs scored are No. 3 in the FCSAA and No. 39 in the NJCAA, while he ranks No. 5 in the FCSAA in hits and No. 23 in the NJCAA.
- Hogue totaled 12 doubles, three triples, seven homers, and 41 RBI.
- On the basepaths, he tied for the team lead with 11 stolen bases.

JP Herrholz, All-FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Second Team, All Mid-Florida Conference First Team
- Herrholz is from Miami, Fla. and prior to SF, he attended Christopher Columbus High School.
- 2023 was his second season of play with the Saints, after making contributions as a redshirt freshman and being a part of the Mid-Florida Conference All-Academic Team in 2022.
- This season, Herrholz was an everyday starter at first base and at the middle of the lineup.
- Herrholz provided a steady bat for the Saints, and showed the knack for bringing runs across when needed most...His team-high 67 RBI ranked No. 3 in the FCSAA and No. 24 in the NJCAA.
- His .314 average came along with 11 doubles, a triple, and a team-high 12 home runs. He also boasted a .436 on-base percentage and .594 alugging percentage.
- Herrholz has committed to continue his collegiate baseball career at Georgia Southern University.

Drake Harman, All-FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Second Team, All Mid-Florida Conference First Team
- Harman is from Lithia, Fla. and prior to SF, he attended Bloomingdale High School.
- The freshman was the everyday right fielder for SF, and used his speed and hitting to make an immediate impact for the Saints.
- His .384 average ranked No. 2 on the team behind Hogue, and he possessed a .446 on-base percentage and .559 slugging percentage.
- Harman connected for 68 hits while collecting 38 runs scored and 34 RBI.
- The impressive statistical totals included a team-high 22 doubles to go along with three home runs. The 22 doubles ranked No. 3 in the FCSAA and No. 13 in the NJCAA.

Jahlani Rogers, All-NJCAA Region 8 Gold Glove Team, All Mid-Florida Conference Second Team, MFC All-Defensive Team
- Rogers is from St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands and prior to SF, he attended East Ridge High School and Florida Gulf Coast University.
- 2023 was his first season with the Saints, and he was the starter from Day 1 in center field.
- His reliable fielding helped him earn his spot on the All-NJCAA Region 8 Gold Glove Team.
- Rogers contributed 129 putouts and two assists without making an error in his 131 chances.
