Morris Marshall Leads Saints Past Impact Academy, 85-57
Gainesville, FL – Morris Marshall picked right up where he left off last year, leading the Saints past Impact Academy on opening night with 24 points, 19 of which came in the first half. Marshall led SF (1-0) in scoring a year ago during conference play at 13.2 per contest, and ended the season with a 37 point outburst against the College of Central Florida in a narrow loss.

Gainesville, FL – Morris Marshall picked right up where he left off last year, leading the Saints past Impact Academy on opening night with 24 points, 19 of which came in the first half. Marshall led SF (1-0) in scoring a year ago during conference play at 13.2 per contest, and ended the season with a 37 point outburst against the College of Central Florida in a narrow loss.
The Saints also got a big game from sophomore transfer Michael Sanchez who scored 20 on 8-for-17 shooting.
SF shot just 42% from the field, but took 26 more shots than Impact. The Saints nailed nine three pointers and held their opponents to just three.
Eleven players scored at least two points for Santa Fe, and newcomers Allen Baez and Vosean Crumbie added seven points apiece.
