New Port Richey, FL – The Santa Fe Saints were in peak form Wednesday night against Pasco Hernando State College, blowing past the Conquistadors 86-44 to earn a big road win.

The Saints (7-4) came out firing and led at the half time break 35-17.  They kept their foot on the gas in the second half and piled on 51 more points while holding the home team to just 27, displaying the typical traits of a defense first Coach Chris Mowry led team.

Nine players dressed for SF, and all nine players scored.  Michael Sanchez led the way with 22 points, including five threes, Morris Marshall had 14 points, Brandon Williams had 12, Tylan Birts scored 10, and as a team the Saints nailed 10 three pointers.

"We did a nice job offensively against their zone in the first half and then adjusted well when they switched to man in the second half," Mowry said.  "Defensively we did a good job contesting shots and getting on the glass."

The Saints will face a tough test coming up on Friday when they travel to Marianna, FL to take on Chipola College in the Panhandle Shootout at 8:00 PM.  On Saturday they will continue in the Panhandle Shootout against Gulf Coast State College at 2:00 PM.
