Men's Basketball Dismantles Florida Gateway, 100-47
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Santa Fe College Men's Basketball improved to 6-1 on the season with a lopsided victory over visiting Florida Gateway, 100-47.
It was the third time this season the Saints' offense eclipsed 100 points, and the Timberwolves had no answer for a dialed in Santa Fe squad.
First Half – SF 53, FGC 26
Trailing 6-3 in the early going, SF went on a 9-0 run. Kordell Brown had four points during the stretch of play to help the Saints to the lead.
SF would never relinquish it the rest of the way. A 12-0 run in the middle of the half put SF ahead 32-14, and then another spurt of 11 unanswered points opened the floodgates and led to a sizeable 27 point advantage at the break. Bradley Douglas had 13 first-half points to spearhead the offense.
Second Half – SF 100, FGC 47
The second half was a runaway in front of the home crowd, and the Saints defense continued to be impressive to lead to runouts and finishes on the other end.
The final score represented SF's largest lead of the game, which was capped off by a corner three-pointer from Giovanni Baerga-Uselis.

Santa Fe dominated on the glass, outrebounding the Timberwolves 66-30.
The Saints held the guests to an abysmal 23.5 percent shooting night (16-of-68), and it was the fewest points allowed this season for SF.
Offensively, SF continued to display a balanced attack. Five Saints were in double-figures, led by Douglas' 17 points on 8-of-13 shooting. He added seven rebounds and six assists from the backcourt and extended his streak of double-digit scoring efforts to 14 consecutive games.
Foster III had a career-high 16 points on 5-of-6 shooting to go along with eight rebounds. Brown was a force with 15 points, seven rebounds, and four blocks, and Nicolas McClain notched his first double-double of his career with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.
Off the bench, Nasir Mann had 12 points and Nikolaos Noumeros provided a spark with eight points and six rebounds.
