Men's Basketball Dominates at Daytona State, 76-60
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Santa Fe College Men's Basketball claimed their first road Central Conference victory, going untroubled in a 76-60 win at Daytona State College.
It was the Saints' second victory over the Falcons in three days, and SF set the tone early to put the game out of reach for the hosts.
First Half – SF 46, DSC 20
Bradley Douglas accounted for the game's first five points, and the SF offense was able to find a groove and take advantage of mismatches against the Falcons.
Santa Fe led 22-13 with 8:22 on the clock, when the Saints netted 13 straight points over about a four-minute span to crack open a 35-13 advantage, capped off by a Douglas basket and the foul.
The lead reached its largest of the game, 46-18, when Kordell Brown laid it in from the paint off a nice dish from Erin Farrington.
Although Daytona State converted on the other end in the final second of the half with an alley-oop, the Saints had done their damage to go into the halftime break with the 26-point separation.
Second Half – SF 76, DSC 60
The Falcons never got any closer then 13 points the rest of the way, and SF coasted to their 15th win of the season while moving to 3-2 in Central Conference play.

Santa Fe has not faced a deficit against the Falcons in the first two meetings this season.
The 16-point victory matched the margin from Saturday's win, 84-68.
SF shot 29-of-57 from the field (50.9 percent) and went a perfect 12-of-12 from the free-throw line.
The Saints forced Daytona State into 19 turnovers with a season-high 15 steals, and after conceding the Falcons 13 three-pointers in Saturday's matchup, SF did well with perimeter defense, limiting Daytona State to just 6-of-26 from beyond the arc (23.1 percent).
Douglas scored 20 of his season-high 25 points in a dominant first half, shredding the Falcons' defense. He finished 10-of-16 from the field and added three steals on the defensive end.
Nicolas McClain chipped in with 12 points and had four steals of his own. Brown and Farrington each contributed an efficient nine points off the bench.
