GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Santa Fe College Softball (23-11) extended its winning streak to six games, capping off what was a perfect homestretch for the week with a sweep of St. Petersburg, 8-6 and 5-4.

A GAME-CHANGING PLAY
The Saints got off to a 4-0 lead in the opening inning, capped off by a two-run homer from Keeli Zingaro who made her return to the lineup quickly felt…
SF would, however, end up needing insurance runs over the final couple of innings, and got just what it needed with three more runs in the bottom half of the sixth. The frame was highlighted by a two-run homer from Ariana Wright, her first as a Saint.
TEAM COMPARISON
SPC outhit SF by an 8-7 margin, but the Saints displayed more power with three doubles and the two homers.
Game 1 was a little messy defensively, with seven errors combined.
