Tallahassee State College made a return trip to Gainesville for some Saturday afternoon softball action.

Santa Fe opened the day with their ninth straight win on the year 10-6 over TSC. The Saints scored two in the bottom of the second to start the offenses for both teams. In the top of the third inning Tallahassee State answered back to tie the game a two a piece. The Saints had no answer in the third inning, but in the fourth SF put up a four spot. Following the four-run inning in the fourth, the Saints did it again in the fifth with another four-run inning. For TSC they had a run in the fifth inning, two in the sixth, and one more in the seventh.
Karrish Rhine highlighted the offense in game one, going 2-3 and driving in four RBI. Madison Conway had a two-hit game as well going 2-4, scoring a run and driving two runs in.
Ryleigh Bauer received the start for SF in game one going 3.0 innings allowing three hits and just two runs. Bauer walked two and struck two batters out. Belle Mancillas received another win in the circle for the Navy and White. Mancillas went 3.0 innings allowing three hits and three runs. Mancillas walked three Eagles. Ryleigh Bennett finished the game going 1.0 innings allowing one hit and one unearned run.
With the win in game one, the Saints advanced their win streak to nine straight games, making it the longest win streak since the 2008 team.
In game two the Saints used the homerun ball to take a 9-2 win over TSC. Four multi-run innings propelled SF to the win.
McKenzie Jewell had the game of her life hitting three homeruns in her four at-bats. Jewell was 4-4, scoring three runs and driving in five. Madison Conway was the only other Saint to drive a run home. Conway hit a solo homerun to bring herself around the bases.
Alexis Daphney started the game and received the win going 3.1 innings allowing one unearned run and walking three. Daphney did not allow a hit in her time in the circle. Ryleigh Benett went the last 3.2 innings. Bennett went 3.2 innings allowing five hits, one run, and struck out three.
The Saints are back in action on Tuesday when the Saints travel to St. John River State College for a doubleheader starting at 2:00 PM.
