Franklin Goes for 30 to Lead Saints Past FSC-J, 81-76
Jacksonville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints (10-8, 2-0 MFC) continued their hot play of late, picking up a crucial Mid-Florida Conference road win over FCSAA ranked #5 Florida State College at Jacksonville. SF sophomore guard Sonya Franklin played one of her best games of the season, leading the way with a season high 30 points (tying her output against IMG), and her twelfth double digit output of the year.

Jacksonville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints (10-8, 2-0 MFC) continued their hot play of late, picking up a crucial Mid-Florida Conference road win over FCSAA ranked #5 Florida State College at Jacksonville. SF sophomore guard Sonya Franklin played one of her best games of the season, leading the way with a season high 30 points (tying her output against IMG), and her twelfth double digit output of the year.
The Saints and Blue Wave were knotted up at 14-14 after the first quarter, but Santa Fe exploded in the second half for 27 points, and held FSC-J to 18 to take a 41-32 lead into the locker room.
The Blue Wave fought back in the third quarter and made it just a two point SF advantage heading into the fourth quarter, but the Saints never panicked and held on down the stretch for the 81-76 victory.
Joining Franklin in double figures was Ari Emmanuel-Wright with 15, and Bri Roberts with 14.
