Saints Handle Central Florida in Ocala, 87-67
Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints set the pace early and never looked back on Saturday afternoon, handling Mid-Florida Conference rivals the College of Central Florida, 87-67, in Ocala. SF led by as many as 41 in route to the 20 point victory. SF has now won six of their last seven games.

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints set the pace early and never looked back on Saturday afternoon, handling Mid-Florida Conference rivals the College of Central Florida, 87-67, in Ocala. SF led by as many as 41 in route to the 20 point victory. SF has now won six of their last seven games.
Santa Fe came out of the gates hot and never let up, taking a 48-18 lead at the half time break. They kept the pressure on in the third quarter, and it wasn't until late that Central Florida was able to get it within 20.
The win moves Santa Fe to 3-1 in the Mid-Florida Conference and 11-9 overall.
Desa'Rai Shaw and Bri Roberts, both sophomores, combined for nine three pointers and 35 points, Shaw leading the way with 24. Rayven Wade was a force on the glass once again, pulling down 12 boards, a game after recording 17.
The Saints will take their 3-1 MFC record on the road to Hillsborough CC next Saturday, January 23 at 2:00 PM. SF defeated the Hawks 77-70 in Gainesville on January 6.
