Gainesville, FL – The FCSAA #10 ranked Santa Fe Saints hit the road on Tuesday evening without the services of second leading scorer Corey Staples, but still managed a convincing victory, defeating Eastern Florida State College 76-56.

Gainesville, FL – The FCSAA #10 ranked Santa Fe Saints hit the road on Tuesday evening without the services of second leading scorer Corey Staples, but still managed a convincing victory, defeating Eastern Florida State College 76-56. The win was the 200th of Coach Chanda Stebbins career.
Emanuel-Wright led the way with 25 points, bumping her season average up to over 20 points per contest. Tatiyana Rock picked up the scoring load from Staples, dropping a season high 16.
Santa Fe led by two points at the end of the first quarter and expanded that lead over the next 10 minutes, taking a 43-34 lead into halftime.
The Saints (4-3) defense improved every quarter as the game wore on, holding the Titans to 13 points in the third quarter and just seven in the fourth.
SF will take a little over a week off before returning to the court on November 30 at South Georgia Technical College at 7:00 PM.
