Women's Basketball Downed at St. Petersburg, 70-57
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Santa Fe College women's basketball hit the road for a Central Conference matchup with St. Petersburg College on Wednesday evening, and the Titans were able to defend their home floor to earn a 70-57 victory.
First Quarter – SPC 15, SF 13
Kelli Cunningham had nine first quarter points for the Saints, but the Titans were able to lead by a bucket at the end of quarter one.
Second Quarter – SPC 34, SF 29
Selah Reddick got into the scoring column for the first time in the second, and had seven in the frame for the Saints' cause.
Third Quarter – SPC 55, SF 41
St. Petersburg opened up a big advantage in the third quarter, exploding offensively for 21 points.
Fourth Quarter – SPC 70, SF 57
The Saints' offense had a productive final quarter and gave SF a chance for a comeback, but it was not to be as the Titans overcame the Saints for a second time this season.
Key Statistics
Reddick had a game-high and season-high 18 points with three triples to lead SF offensively.
Cunningham finished with 11, while Malea Brown contributed nine.
