Brown has 32, Women's Basketball Beats Tallahassee, 82-72
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Santa Fe women's basketball was led by an outstanding 32-point performance from guard Malea Brown on its way to an 82-72 win over Tallahassee.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Coming off a slow start in a defeat to East Georgia State College, the Saints got off to a fast start in this matchup with the Eagles and led 20-12 after the opening ten minutes.
Tallahassee trimmed the deficit to five at the half, and then a single point headed into the fourth quarter.
Key contributions came from a variety of different players on both sides of the floor to close out the win, however, as SF distanced itself from the Eagles down the stretch.
