Niceville, FL- The Santa Fe women's basketball team took care of business to officially make the FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 postseason tournament.  The event will take place at Raider Arena in Niceville, FL.

Santa Fe, who finished tied with Daytona in conference record actually owed the tie-breaker due to beating them twice. This afforded the final spot to the Saints into the state tournament.  They finished with an overall record of 13-15 and 9-12 in conference play.  They are set to face of against the #1 seed Gulf Coast State College at 6pm.  The #3 nationally ranked Commodores are 24-4 overall and 9-3 in conference play.  Tip off is set for Thursday March 14 @ 6PM.
