
Santa Fe falls to FSCJ
Santa Fe stayed at home for their third game of the young season as Florida State College at Jacksonville knocks off the Saints.

Santa Fe falls to 1-2 on the season after the 60-57 loss to FSCJ (2-1) in Gainesville. The Saints trailed a majority of the ball game but made it close in the final minutes. Santa Fe cut what was an 18 point deficit to two midway through the fourth quarter, before the Manta Rays nailed home the win.
The Saints had three players in double figures with Aniyah Anderson leading the way with 11 points, while Aissa Diallo and Madyson Burney both added 10 points. A nine point second quarter allowed FSCJ to grow their existing lead. In the fourth quarter the Saints battled outscoring FSCJ 24-12, but the comeback fell just short in the final minute.
Santa Fe is back in action this Friday and Saturday in Niceville, Florida at the Raider Classic. The Saints will play the host Northwest Florida State College at 6:00 PM ET on Friday, before taking on a familiar opponent Pensacola State College Saturday at 2:00 PM ET.
