On Friday evening Santa Fe (1-3) fell to the host school Northwest Florida (4-0) 62-30. The Saints held a one-point lead into the second quarter before the Raiders outscored SF 21-10 in the second quarter and 14-0 in the fourth quarter. Micah Hannah, Nakayla Green, and Madyson Burney all had six points each in the loss.
On Saturday afternoon Santa Fe (1-4) lost to Pensacola State College (4-1) for the second time this season. The Pirates took a lead early in the first quarter and didn't look back. Pensacola outscored Santa Fe in three of the four quarters and fell behind by as much as 21 points. The final score in the contest was 73-52. Hannah was the leading scorer with 16 points and had a team leading 14 rebounds and four assists in the loss. Aniyah Anderson was the only other Saint in double figures with 12 points.
Santa Fe is back in action Monday evening at Tallahassee State College for the Veterans Day Game at 1:00 PM.
