
Fourth Quarter Pushes Saints to a Win
Santa Fe used a 24-point fourth quarter to propel them to the road win at Daytona State.

Santa Fe (6-6, 2-1) pulls away from Daytona State in the Monday night thriller. The Saints and Falcons exchanged blows through the first half, with 9 different lead changes in the game. Santa Fe took a slim one-point lead into the halftime break. A 16-point third quarter for both squads kept the Saints up by one heading into the fourth quarter. That is when the SF offense turned it on, outsourcing the Falcons 24-8 to take a 74-57 win on the road.
The Saints had three players in double figures, with six total players in the scoring column. SF was led by Micah Hannah, with a career-high 30 points. Hannah hauled in 12 total rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Yanija Lawson and Aniyah Anderson were the other Saints in double figures with 18 and 14 points respectively. The Saints were 0-11 from behind the arc and still found a way to pull out the big win, shooting 34% from the field and 74% from the free throw line.
